PC Shutting Down Randomly
I am facing this weird problem with my PC since yesterday, after running the PC for a view hours it suddenly shutdown without any warning as if someone just pulled the power cable out!!!
I have not made any HW changes or installed any new SW or driver
The system is on a mild OC of 3.4Ghz
Also i am using MSE and Comodo firewall
The reliability monitor shows that "Windows was not properly shutdown"
PLz HELP

abu,
I've the same question as Scrooge, that is, what ar the temps?
You can use either Speccy or CoreTemp to monitor your temps. Links in my sig. Both of these are non-destructive and have no problems running.
Other recommendateions:
1. Do NOT overclock.
2. Disable Comodo 100% and use Windows 7's Firewall.
Is the problem gone?

thanks
i mentioned the temps above, using coretemp and msi afterburner
will try both your recommendations and report back
Do you think it HW related??
Also i scanned the my system using AntiMalwareBytes and it reported no infected files

abu,
I see you have been posting all over trying to get your overclocking to work.
The rule is do not overclock. If you want more processor power, get a more powerful processor.
If you want more computer performance then get a SSD and 8-12 GB ram.

ovrclocking takes alot of (reading and trial and error),
you said you desabled the overclocking so let it at that and let us no if it till shutsdown . if it works fine with out
overclocking and you still want to overclock there are alot of forums out there that can help you.but like i said make
sure you spend alot of time reading and understanding what your doing.
