pc to tv help

Hi i wanna join my pc to my sony trinitron tv,i only have scart socket or s video/and yellow video slots!
I know i can get a dvi to hdmi to work.but is there a way i can do vga/dvi to scart to watch films on my tv?
any help ne great

svideo or hdmi direct then use divx to view upon the tv just have to use the input easy and simple if you dont have a s video slot might want to get a adapter for the tv

use can also link a tv tuner to the video card and stream it to the svideo via tv but that is alot of manipulating

the problem you face is hdmi is digital and s-video and scart are analog, so to go from hdmi to scart or s-video requires a converter box, not just a cable. there are dvi to s-video cables or scart i see on the net, but i have never tried them, and i read you need to be careful that some s-video connections have different amounts of pins, and there are two kinds of scart connections!

EDIT: I also see there are vga to s-video cables, but again there dosent seem to one cable fixes all, maybe you could check with the graphics card manufacturers website to see if they have a dongle for your card?

hi i have gts 250 with only 2 dvi out puts,but it says its tv-out.is this though the dvi slot?
I am getting a svideo lead to use with my vga to s video adapter in my my dvi slot on card!
Will this work.
