PDF and WMV

Receive PDF aand WMV files in google gmail. Can not print pdf or play wmv files. Iam 75 years old and having a problem. Had XP before and had no problems.

Can anyone help me resolve these issues

If you don't have Adobe Reader installed, you can not read PDF files. You can download it here Adobe - Adobe Reader download - All versions (be aware there is a check mark that also downloads McAfee Anti-Virus, uncheck it if you do not need an anti-virus program). == The WMV files are opened by Windows Media Player which you should have in Windows 7. The file probably is not associated with the Windows Media Player. In other words Windows does not know what program to use to play the WMV file. Here is what you do. Go to a WMV file and right-click your mouse. You will see "Associate a File" (or something like that). Left click on "Associate a File" and a list of programs will come up. Click on the Windows Media Player and it should work everytime in the future. == On the PDF. If you already have Adobe Reader, you might can just associate a file and it will also work. Give that a try and come back if you still have problems. Thanks,

Hello fhwill, and welcome to Seven Forums.

In addition to the above, I find that saving email attachments to the desktop (or one of your other user folders) first before trying to open them works best.
