I need to scan in a form as a PDF file then have the ability to fill it in.
Can anyone recommend a good free PDF editor?

The free Nitro PDF reader is the only one I know that allows you to insert text. Nitro PDF Reader

Actually since I posted I have been looking at Foxit Reader. It has far more facilities than Nitro including a typewriter tool that does what you want.Foxit Reader

I used the latest 64 bit version of Nitro PDF Reader and it was fine.
Now for an admission - Foxit Reader has been my default PDF reader for a long time and I didn't realize that the free version has the editing capability!!!!!:o
