PDF Files no longer open with Microsoft Office

My computer has always opened PDF files thru Microsoft Office and now when they open everything is all jumbled and unreadable. I have to close and reopen using Adobe Reader. Can anyone tell me what happened to cause this change?

A few days ago or so I found programs would suddenly shut down after a single click. Also controlling files became problematic because a single click would mysteriously open a file, instead of e.g. merely selecting it. And when trying to map a file location, my computer would do one thing and I was doing another. Everything I try to do is now controlled by a System Permission so I'm not sure what
Hi there ... What version of Office are you using ? Have you tried a Repair through the Control panel .. Go to program and features / Select Office .. And click on Repair

I am using Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007. I tried to repair, but it doesn't change anything.

i cann't tell what's wrong with the problem here. i think you can use some pdf software to open and process pdf file instead of loading pdf through Word Office software. ;)
