pdf image not showing

hey guys , after setting up brand new pc and instaling adobe acrobat 9 pro. my e boooks are not showing the cover images in my folder . they used to in fact the only way the covers show is when i click open in acrobat and a new page opens for me to select a file, then they show but the images dont stay . is there a check box for searches or displaying content i have forgotten . ps its good to be back

Try reinstall it. I may have installed wrong.

when looking into the files types that are indexed . pdfs show but it said next to it that the registered ifilter was not found . what is that?

Right click on the book in your library, it will be one of the options. If it is a common book it will even download a cover for you.

You can add cover art using a free program called calibre:

calibre

You can drag the book into Calibre, edit the metadata, including adding your own cover artwork. Even better, with a free isbndb.com account, you can get the cover downloaded automatically.

thanks a guy ( nice sig ) im a bit pernickity about software performing as it should . i will try re install see if that helps i moved from 32bit to 64 but im guessing it should still work the same

update , i just found this old thread of mine and now i have a fix the thread needs updating, the fix to show pdf covers in 7 x64 is to be found here.
