pen drive not formatted

respected sir,
my 2gb pen drive is not working because i format it as NTFS but it is fat type and window is not formatted it again .plz help me to use it again

Double click on my computer. Then find your device. Right click and select format. Click on the drop down box where it says "File System" and select FAT32. Make sure quick format is ticked, hit START.

then it show a message that "window was unable to complete the format"

There is a different method. Try this.

Unplug your pen drive, wait for a few seconds then plug it back in and try this:-

Click start > control panel > Administrative tools(you need to be in classic mode) > Computer Management

The Disk Management snap-in will open.
Under the Storage section, choose Disk Management
You should see your USB drive listed here. It may not have a drive letter assigned.
Right click your USB drive and select Format, remember to select FAT32.

Does your pen drive appear when you double click "My Computer"? If it does what letter is the drive?

As a last resort, you may try MiniTool Free Partition Manager Software Home Edition.

its name is appear as "removeable disk" and don't show its total memory space.
