Permanently disable Driver Signing Enforcement in Win7 Ultimate x64

Hi there,

I am running Ultimate 7-64bit 6.1 (build 7601: Service Pack 1).
I need to permanently disable Driver Signing Enforcement from my os, or otherwise automatically bypass it every time i reboot, as if i went through the menu at F8.

I have tried the tutorial here

but

bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNINGON

does nothing after i reboot. i have since turned testsigning back on and re-enabled integrity checks. the bcdedit does seem to work, i get 'operation completed successfully' messages, but they seem to have no effect.

I am more inclined to apply the regedit method, but i do not have the
Driver Signing\BehaviorOnFailedVerify folders under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\

could someone guide me to disable it pls, i have multiple hardware in device manager with exclamation marks on a standard boot, and the affected devices do not work.

Why do you need to do this to begin with?
It seems to me that you're using non-signed drivers. Can you get properly-made drivers instead?

This is a 10-year dell system. These are the most appropriate legacy drivers for the current set of hardware. I did not get this issue in the past, but now on re-install some devices are highlighted in device manager as having non-signed drivers.

Most notably are the Upek Card-reader, Ricoh Integrated Camera, Intel 4985 AGN Wifi network Adapter.
For example, the most appropriate driver for the wifi would be some Intel prolink etc. version 13.4.0.139. I had confirmed this was the most appropriate driver years ago, but on this current install, it marks the driver as not properly signed, i think error code 52 or something.

Uisng another set of drivers is out of the question, i am determined to use this set i have. need to disable the enforcement.

That makes me think how was it working before reinstall. There must be some set of drivers you were using that were signed. Today disabling signature enforcement is a serious security drawback, existing only for testing purposes.
Could you find the drivers you had before the reinstall?

Hi, they are the exact same drivers applied on the exactly same set of hardware as before. Everything checked out under device manager before. I kept everything in a clone drive untouched. Even the win 7 installation exactly the same copy and precisely same version. did not introduce any update to previous system, that i did not to this current install.

this is quite an isolated system, so i would not mind disabling enforcement, but it has to be permanent. Can someone guide me please?

I will certainly give this utility a try. May I ask however, if there is a solution in my current situation that does not involve introduction of a new program to the system? I could not find

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Driver Signing\BehaviorOnFailedVerify in my system under this win version.
