Permission to Delete Folder

I want to delete a particular folder but I keep getting this error. I tried "Take Ownership" and it still would not work. When I tried to access the sub-folders I get this access denied error.. I have had this issue for some time and I tried to ignore it but now I can't anymore as I am allocating space and re-setting company shared folders. Thanks.

Try a program named Unlocker. See this post.

This video is old and was made for a person that was using XP...
...but it should show you how to get rid of that white space around your screenshots.

I got this and posted that it didn't work. I went to another computer and tried it again because I think I might have created the folder from that station. It seem to have deleted the folder.

But, I am not seeing this error while I am using robocopy and I don't see this folder in the drive.

I should have mentioned that Unlocker should be run on the computer that has the drive in it, not on a remote drive. Glad that you got it deleted.

The system volume information folder is a hidden system folder. What are you attempting to do?

Trying to copy an entire external drive to a larger capacity and change the drive letter - swap the drive letter.
