As you can tell by the title, this is a thread for discussion of what you use for your pc for anti-virus/malware, any tips on how to maintain it's performance, and talking about not so well known PC "help" programs real or fake. this board will not be covering fake, virus, only real ones that may or may not work as described but don't cause a crash.

i use Malware Bytes Anti Malware, and i love the program, it doesn't cause slowdown, nor is it intrusive on what i do, as far as i can tell. but i want to know peoples opinions on this program and others you may use. for example, it's been brought to my attention a company whom i used to love aren't exactly good. Iobit, i would've swore by them a year ago, but ive moved on to more lightweight, less time consuming programs. what are your thought's on this program. and any program you use or have used.

MBAM of course :) Zone Alarm Extreme Security as AV/firewall. Also use Malwarebytes Anti Exploit free. Scanning with SuperAntiSpyware once in a while too.

Best defense is not visiting any shady site in the first place. And using genuine software.
