When you open FRST the GUI menu has a number of boxes ticked thats what im after
Basically open FRST hit >>scan<< post the 2 logs

I am watching the other thread, there your using the fix option.

as i said earlier i DO NOT want to start playing around until SWM has finished

I will, but that looks like a long time coming. Just what do you have in mind, Roy, for “playing around”? When s/m or someone else has solved this problem, as far as I’m concerned it’s period – full stop. If you are just curious I can run some diagnostics for you once in a while, but I hope you will understand why I’m not interested in hosting a lab for W.U. experiments.

Now on the other hand, if s/m fails to cure this curious problem where everything works perfectly except W.U. and you want a crack at it, I will gladly have you be my guest.

Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or technical support for devices running Windows 7 operating systems. That’s why it’s time to make the shift to Windows 10 today.” So that time limits how long I will be interested in fixing my W.U. problems. After the Jan 2020 date I, “Won’t give a monkey’s”, to quote the Brits. Not that I will upgrade to Windows 10 at that time.[/FONT]
