Philips SAA713x PCI TV card PROBLEM

Hello ... I need little help with my tv tuner card. I bought it like one year ago, it worked on XP prof. but it doesn't work on my Windows 7 32 bit.. So the problem is the driver (I think).. On the disk which i got with the card there are two drivers for XP and rest of that OS like ME Win 98... and for Vista... I tried to install bouth of them but neather didn't work. When I had it installed on my XP the programme name was honestach, and when I installed in for Vista the name was TV Expert, so I need some programme that is similar to this only for Win 7

When I open setup it says Philips SAA713x PCI TV card.

Ok so when I isntalled driver for vista and opened the programme I noticed that there is no Picture, I mean I cant watch any channel neather to hear it... The only thing that works is the remote control I can change channel, or mute or basicly I can do everything but theres no picture..

So does anyone have any similar TV tuner card or had some silimilar problem, I would like to hear it, and hear how to solve my problem..

Also I tried to go to propertis and set that compability but it didnt help..

Install the driver in compatibility mode for XP. Do it 2x if needed, with a reboot after each time.

Alternatively, install using the device manager.

Right click it. Update driver software. Browse my computer. Let me pick. Have disk. Browse. Find the .inf and double click on it. Hit ok. Hit next and let it install.

Ok...

So install it then go to device manager, than update driver than browse it and find some .inf file???

Strange thing happend when I installed it.. There was a litle bubble which said Driver installed succesfully.. and after a few moments when installation finished I saw this message

Possible Solution:

Tell me which drivers you installed and which versions

NOTE: First Uninstall the previous drivers and application for your TV card, restart then try this:

Install driver: Philips SAA713x Drivers ver 1.3.4.5.080909

And Application: Go to this link and install whatever newer version available of "HyperMedia Center" is available

Currently the newest version is: HyperMedia Center V3.60.00.0160.090901

After installing the application and the drivers, scan channels using the appication. After the setup is complete, if you can hear sound but no video then adjust setting of contrast, hue, saturation, and brightness until you are satisfied with it. First adjust contrast, you will see black and white video. Then adjust hue and saturation until you get good colour display. Hope this helps. Let me know whether this helped or not

i've win7 32bit OS, i installed saa7130 vista driver, whn i record movie, record successfully bt recorded movie does not have sound,
Even volume & mute decrease and incsease does not effect, i have to adjust volume from speakers.:sarc:
