Hey everyone:

New member here. I just started syncing my iphone with my new laptop rocking Windows 7. I had a bunch of photos I took with the Iphone which I cut from the device and pasted into a folder on my laptop. I then used the laptop to rotate the pics so they were all situated the right way. Then when I synced the phone it loaded all the pictures, but with the old pre-rotated properties. I double checked the laptop and they are fine there. Any help?

What exactly did you use t rotate the pictures?

It may be worth completely disabling photo sync in iTunes and then reenabling it to see if that solves the problem too.

Anytime you do a sync you are essentially pulling down from the phone to the PC. If you don't manipulate the photos in the sync library and save them and just make a folder where you used Microsoft's Photo Viewer to rotate it I think your iPhone actually may have synced with the original one you took from the iPhone.
Doesn't the iPhone use Photo Rotate, I believe there is a V2.01 out.
