Hey Guys,

Pulling my hair out here so someone PLEASE help me!!

Installed Windows 7 a few days ago, Installed Office 2007, Dreamweave CS4 and Photoshop CS4. Everything was working fine for a few days.

Then yesterday, I moved the computer to another office, and tried starting Photoshop, but it said "Photoshop Stopped Working".

Search forums for known errors and tried EVERY method that they suggested but nothing worked at all. (Dreamweaver still worked fine). So I formatted hard drive and installed Windows 7 again. All went ok so I installed Photoshop. Everything still working I created a backup image and restarted the computer several times. Again, everything working fine so I decided to install Dreamweaver and Office 2007. Without restarting, loaded Photoshop again and everything still fine, but once I restarted, thats it, Photoshop wont open again. Searched all the forums again for help, nothing works!!

I've not restored the computer so all I have is Windows 7 and Photoshop, and everything seems to be ok, for now!!

Equipment that i'm using is:

Quad Core 2.6
8gb Memory
500 and 250gb Sata
400gb IDE
2 x Radeon HD 4550 Graphics Cards
Lighscribe DVD Burner.
Usb Keyboard
Logitech Nano Wireless Mouse.

Now the only thoughts I've had is that it could have been the windows updates, but I've turned those off for now. Could it be anything to do with grpahics card?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Dean

** UPDATE **

From the previous state where photoshop alone was working. I've now installed Office 2007. Everything was working fine, rebooted several times and everything was working.

Everything seemed ok so I changed some of my personal preferences, and I run 4 screens on my computer and prefer to have my "Main Screen" as the 3rd one in the row of 4.

Rebooted Windows 7 and bang, Photoshop doesn't work. So I just thought while being extremely P**SED off that I'd change my "main" screen back to Screen 2, and there you go, Photoshop works fine.......

Why is this?

Cheers

Can anyone offer any advice about this?

I know i've got it working now but its only a "work around" and not a solution?

Cheers

I have Photoshop CS4, and other than having bluescreens (unrelated), I'm not having any problem.
To me, it sounds like something to do with Microsoft Office... Perhaps installing Open Office would be a good alternative?
