Solved Photoshop.exe - Application Error

Whenever I try to open up Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks CS5 I get the error shown in the picture below.

It might be RAM, but it used to work and now all of a sudden it doesn't.

I have tried using CCleaner, but that never fixed the problem.

Use the Photoshop uninstaller or Revo to completely remove the program, then reinstall it..

Is there any other alternative way? Cos the same thing happens to Fireworks, and I hope not all other Adobe CS5 Programs I have

You might not have a choice at this point...

if it's not working as it is, you need to try to fix it.

yes it will take some time to uninstall/reinstall, and you'll probably have to set your preferences and custom workspaces etc again.

but it is the best way to solve your problem. it looks like something has been deleted somewhere - it could be a thousand things causing this error...a reinstall should fix it.

also, try installing as an administrator, by right-clicking the installer prog, and choosing 'run as admin'.

Thanks, I'll try repairing it. If repairing it doesnt work, I might reinstall.

edit : I have tried it now and it appears as Adobe cs5 master collection and no repair option.
Is reinstalling my last resort?

if it were me, i would uninstall completely, then start again.
