There is nothing wrong here. Do you want to save RAM for a rainy day, LOL.

Btw: You get a better picture of RAM usage if you look at the Resource Monitor > Memory tab

Windows 7 is not XP. It will manage your memory far better that you or a third party tool can.

I don't see that you have a ram problem. Show us one of these.

Resource Monitor RAM.PNG

The ram usage changes all the time and Windows 7 just takes care of what portion of ram is used where and when. So far I see nothing to worry about.

The screenshot looks completely normal. If you have a usage of 1.9 GB as indicated in your first post you need to post a screenshot of Task Manager - Performace tab that shows it. Resource Monitor has much more detailed information concerning RAM usage but there are some critical items not included.

For what ever reason arward72 post #7 wants us to see his memory.
It is not the OP from post #1.

arward72 do you have a problem you want to bring to our attention.

Hello Layback Bear,

In answer to your question, no, I do not have a problem (although I do see your point), nor do I believe sharavanan99 has one either.

I was merely attempting to point out (in what I thought would be a humorous fashion) that low memory usage can be obtained should one wish to put in a little time and effort.

Be that as it may, many of the OS \ Registry tweaks I use have in fact come from this very website.

I should add that your reply to my post at no time induced any negative emotion within my person.

I shall end this little diatribe by saying that it is a shame that we as a species now almost exclusively \ instinctively jump to a negative conclusion first.

PS: I will happily post my collection of easy to follow tweaks, should an interest arise, as I already have them saved to a single text file.

.

Arward if you had posted something other than "Hehe" possibly someone would have understood it. I didn't see any humor nor use of the post either.

Hehe meant nothing to me either. That is why I asked the question.

arward72 do you have a problem you want to bring to our attention.

Nothing positive, nothing negative just a question.

Life is a series of problems and obstacles that we all must face up to and either accept the challenge or not.

Although I do have a sore patella that I consider to be somewhat problematic at times when it decides to play up.

Other than that, no.

People with a good grasp and understanding of their Nucleus Accumbens and the havoc that it can create have no problems.
