Picture with two parts from different pictures

I was looking around in my pictures folder, and there were 3 pictures that looked like two halves of two pictures stitched together. I have ran chkdsk and there was no bad sectors. Is this a corruption that was caused by the computer or was it like that when I took it? I did like to take random pictures back then at the time of the picture being taken. I can't upload it because it is a personal photo. They are not perfect halves.

Are these scans of hard copy prints or negatives? Or were the pix digital all the way and were never printed or had negatives?

Can you describe how the 2 halves differ?

One OK, the other tinted?

One OK, the other blurry?

One OK, the other not quite the same size?

One OK, the other too bright/overexposed?

The two halves are completely different subjects, half elephant, half sunflower?

All fans PWM; speeds at idle: CPU circa 500 rpm; intake circa 600 rpm; exhaust circa 600 rpm; CPU temps 27 idle and 47 C load in a warm room (27 C/81 F) when running Intel Extreme Tuning Utility stress test.
Well, they both were normally colored and bright. I transfered it from my digital camera, it was either my Sony Nex-5 or Sony Cybershot and I transfered it through USB. I am going to sleep and I will read replies tommorow.

Wait, nevermind. It was taken from my old Samsung Galaxy S phone. All of the pictures have someone's face from my family and the other side has more than one of us and is zoomed out more. It seems like this for all the pictures.
