Pictures from micro sd will not copy

I have a set of pictures on a sandisk 32 g microsd that came from my samsungs7. THere are 21 gigs of pictures. I have tried 3 different methods to copy and it gets hung up.
I did robocopy and it stopped on one picture. I tried sync back free last eve it hung up. regular windows copy will not stop discovering items.
What is special about pictures on my micro SD that make them so difficult to access and copy. ?? Anyone have any ideas ?
I can access and copy pictures like 50 at a time but there are 2700 of them.
Maybe A Robocopy with a option to bypass after 15 minutes. ? Or maybe I just leave them on the micro SD and hope it never goes bad on me.

Some are corrupt use robocopy when it stuck delete that file if you have to restart it will get back on track very fast

Could just be the little lock switch if it has one ?

It could also be that the card reader is not able to read a 32 GB card because it is an older reader and not able to cope with larger card sizes.
