Pictures library no longer working

Bought pc from tesco 3 years ago,but have upgraded,memory,graphics card ,sound card,monitor,added usb ports and have cit vantage case,only motherboard and prossesor thats original.and upgraded from xp to windows 7,and new speakers,second hard drive for backup.WD essentials 250gb external hard drive

Have managed to fix this problem,i deleted the pictures library folder,then restored library defaults,and now the the folder is back thanks.
