pin shortcut from network drive

Never been to Heaven....
Is it possible to pin a program to the task bar from a network drive. I right click and the option is not there. didn't know if there was a way around it?!

Thanks for the reply. Close but I have a program inside the network drive I would like to pin, not the drive itself. I have managed to do it by pinning a random program and changing the targets to point to the right program, but I cannot change the icon. Kinda weird LOL

Edit: I got it, I made a shortcut to a random program, changed the icon, pinned it, then went through and assigned it to the right targets. Thanks!!
