It is an old game but don't get my wrong it still gives hours of enjoyment but the one thing it was lacking was online support. This is how to play GTA:SA online.

Download:
SA-MP San Andreas Multiplayer mod for Grand Theft Auto (GTA SA)
Its a free download and takes about 5 minuets to set up!

Install in the same folder as you GTA:SA!

Click Internet at the bottom.

Are you kidding me? I'm playing this since I was a SA-MP developer in 2008 and playing this still. But SA-MP has a crapified player synchronization system that's why I'd stick to Multi Theft Auto - Best Grand Theft Auto Multiplayer Modification

What servers do you play in? This game is so much better than GTA V imo, there's so much more you can do online and servers support upto 1000 players :O I've been playing in the same server for years and has 100-200 players online all the time which is great. I also have a High Definition Mod Pack which replaces all the textures in the game and makes it look so much better compared to the original. I also have enb series enabled aswell

Yeah i totally agree, but i'm not into mods. Dont get me wrong i have used some, but i can be bothered with the hassle. lol.

Use to play this , use to even do clan wars and all. Use to be really into it but lost interest over time. Here's a old vid of mine hehe. IMO the comptive part of samp is what made it so great. Played it since it came out, just recently stopped like 2 years ago or so basicly a year after I got a real rig (good bye old p4 with intel graphics) to play more graphic games and tf2 basicly took the mp spot since I found it to be a better online game. Samp sync at least when I use to play was so laggy so we had to adpate and find the lag spots where it would hit them hehe.

lol ENB doesn't make the graphics look like in the HD Universe. ENB in SA is much better.

Yeah there are much more better ENB settings out there!

I've just found out a hidden file in the data folder named timecycp.dat that fixes the missing specular lighting in some cars like SuperGT, Uranus etc..

The file originally came from the PS2 files

Oooooooh. It never even occurred to me that SA had multiplayer mods. Personally it was the only GTA game I hated (more than 4) but the big map and being able to just drive for hours and cause havoc was nice.

Gonna sub to this thread cause I'm at work and can't sync bookmarks, I have got to check out that HD mod pack

If I get it working in a timely manner, we could wreck s**t up!

There are some brilliant mods out there, but always have a backup save of the game, some of them are dodgy.
