Hi all,

I am fairly new to the MC/Xbox extender world, and I have found several answers already, but i have ONE huge issue regarding the playback of VOB-files /DVD Folder-thingy-copy-something...:)

When I buy a new DVD, I copy it into my storage in a DVD folder using Aimersoft DVD Copy - Full Disc, menu, the full monty, a RAW DVD copy.

On the Media Center PC, when I start the copied movie - it starts with the DVD menu - just like anything else, but when I start the same movie on the Extender, it just starts, no menu, no language/subtitle selection and worst of all - NO Audiotrack selection...

I know that the Transcoder fom Mikinho (which I am using) automatically selects the largest file for playback, but I would really like to be able to play the movie as if it was the physical DVD, which means with menu and everything...
So, are there any OTHER solutions/transcoders out there that would enable me to do so?

/kind Regards

Sadly there is not. Having access to the menus is not possible with the current extenders.

It is possible to recreate the menu and superimposing buttons by parsing the IFO data structures. I started going that route but I stopped using extenders so wasn't worth the development time.
