My sincere thanks to anyone who is willing to take a look at the attached dump files.

I have a gateway computer with Intel Q6600 processor; 3GB of RAM (as it turns out made up of 2 x 1GB plus 2 x 520MB); and 500GB SATA Hard Drive; running Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit). I originally purchased this computer with 32 bit Vista.

I have always had BSOD problems but not with any great degree of frequency (about once every two months) but starting about 6 months ago the computer became virtually unusable because of BSOD. A friend of mine installed Windows 7 on it and in the process discovered that my graphics card died at which point we presumed that the cause of my BSOD was malfunctioning graphics card. We took it out and I presently use the regular VGA connection.

After several days of pleasant cruising on my newly installed Windows 7 the BSOD problem came back. I changed the boot option to "Base Video" just in case but that didn't seem to do anything. I can work on the computer for hours without a problem and then BSOD starts one after another at various times, some times when the computer is in use and other times when it is idle.

For what it's worth I ran a RAM diognostics tool, Hard Drive scan, and Virus scan (all numerous times) and it all came back clean. I also have installed the latest BIOS update before installing windows 7.

I see that there is a ton of posts from people like me looking for help and probably just a few people who can review the dump logs and point out potential problems, so once again, I thank you guys in advance for taking the time out to look at these dump files.

These were caused by memory pool corruption.

I would

Download memtestx86 and run it for 5 passes
System file check
(type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow

If you overclocking STOP
If you have a raid update its driver

THANK YOU, ZIGZAG. Now I have some work to do. I was considering replacing the 4 RAM circuits of different sizes that I currently have on this machine with two circuits of 2GB each. I may need to do that sooner rather than later.

Again, thank you very much!
