Dear friends

The error shown in the image comes on startup whenever i restart/turnon my computer.I think i deleted some infected file through bitdefender and this caused the error. I have tried many registry cleaners but they do not solve the problem.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

ok a few things here:

1.) Registry cleaners cause more problems, they do not fix anything.
2.) What infection was it that bit defender cleaned?
3.) What program do you have running at startup?

Hello and welcome Ahmed as Andrew has said mate those registry cleaners are nothing but trouble the only one that I know of is in CCleaner and it has a method fo saving any entries you are going to delete so that you can merge them back if necessary.

However my suggestion is to run this http://support.kaspersky.com/4162 after you have run these

http://www.superantispyware.com/

http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/

download from bleeping computer – delete any rubbishthese find.

If you think you know which file it is you deleted that might be causing the problem you may be able to recover it with Recuva https://www.piriform.com/recuva/download

PS Meant to mention before you do anything with the registry it is a good idea to back it up see this http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/4230-registry-backup-restore.html

Your computer was infected and may still be infected. ssl.exe is a process that belongs to an unknown owner and it is registered under the name W32 Worm Module. W32 is a term that is used to identify different viruses and worms that can infect your PC by exploiting vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows 32-bit version operating systems.

W32 is basically used as the prefix to the actual term that identifies the type of virus or worm which exploits your PC's operating system. Hackers like to focus on the 32-bit vulnerabilities since the 32-bit version of Microsoft Windows is a widely used PC operating system. This is why there are hundreds of thousands of W32 versions of worms and viruses.

I suggest following the advice posted by ICit2lol to be sure the system is clean.

Thanks for that St George and if the ones I linked to which I consider the first triers / line of attack don't do anything you could follow up with Emsisoft Free Emergency Kit: Portable malware scanner | Free removal of Viruses, Bots, Spyware, Keyloggers and Trojans I only run the Emergency and Command line scans and there is this which will run from power up and works independent of Windows working at all scouring through just about everything.
Download Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10

I suppose we might as well go a bit further if things are bad and run this
Best Free Rootkit Scanner and Remover < use the first on the listing TDSS Killer for any rootkits. There are others as you will see but it will do for now and enough for you to get on with.
