Hey You All,

I have taken on a task with my company as a computer tech for a small security unit, with out the pay. I have no idea what I am doing as a whole. I have reviewed multiple sources with out any real results. I have several projects I am trying to accomplish and any or all help would be greatly appreciated.

1) I have a six man team and we all operate off the same profile. On occasion I will utilize the admin profile while the rest of the team has a standard user. They find the most unique was of jacking it up.

I want to lock out the internet to only allow only a few specific sites, any advice

2) I have several different files that we utalize. Is it possible to link these folders up to the two different profiles? or am I limited to the shared folder. Is it possible to duplicate the shared folder and use different tasks for each duplicate. When I tried it was a perfect copy of all 6 of my file types in each folder, even though I only wanted type A with A Folder and Type B WITH B folder, every folder had every file type and 6 of them were identicle even through I distinctly saved each file to the designated folder

3) Finally I want to prevent any and all customizations to both profiles. I want to have designated Icons and prevent anyone from moving them or adding or removing them as well as lock the desktop wall paper.

Thanks so much for that, I am currently sampling a program that blocks Internet Explorer. The information you just gave me helped avoid buying a meaning less program, Thanks again

We use two different Internet Protocols (Internet Explorer and Fire Fox). I have yet too receive any good sources for controling fire fox, Can You also point the way

for this i think youll need to play with Security Policies (domain or local), and other admins' permissions, lest they simply undo what you do...

If I were in your chain if command, I would authorize a limited amount of funding for a couple of books.
