Please help, PC Crashes without BSOD

My PC keeps restarting for no reason..... Every time I boot into Windows 7 Home Premium on the PC I bought TODAY, it lets me use it for 5 minutes, then it restarts.

Could I please get some help with this problem?

EDIT: I can boot into Safe Mode, and this wont happen. Also, now, instead of restarting, it just crashes. It freezes and I cant do anything. I have to restart at this point.

Windows 7:
Go to Start and type in "sysdm.cpl" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Click on the Advanced tab
Click on the Startup and Recovery Settings button
Ensure that "Automatically restart" is unchecked
Under the Write Debugging Information header select "Small memory dump (64 kB)" in the dropdown box
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as "%systemroot%\Minidump" (without the quotes)
Click OK twice to exit the dialogs, then reboot for the changes to take effect.

100% positive. Now my PC just freezes. However, I can still boot into safe mode. Should I try completely reinstalling the OS or is it too early for that stage?

You might try a diagnostic startup. Run msconfig > under the General tab, select Diagnostic startup.

I tried that, and it worked. That means the problem is from something I installed right? I only installed the following programs, and NOTHING else:

Avast
Firefox
Java
Skype
Steam
Flash Player

It could be something you installed - software or hardware. But it does seem to indicate your basic system is functioning properly. Go to the Boot tab in msconfig and check boot log. Boot with the diagnostic startup and look at the log. Then boot with a regular startup and look at the log. You may be able to spot the issue.

Never mind, I uninstalled Avast, and the problem still keeps happening. At this point I have no idea what to do.

Guys, forget everything I said above. The computer freezes no matter what. Even when I load a boot disk, the PC freezes. I have no idea what could be causing this...

I think this might me a heat issue, keep track your computer temperature by using cpu-z or gpu-z
I would like to ask you few question, at least can eliminate some potential causes:
-reverse any overclocking on hardware
-disable any auto overclock software
-clean the inside of the box with compressed air
-reseat memory, cables and additiional cards such as graphics cards etc.
-check system temps in bios hardware monitor as I mentioned above

I just bought the PC today. Would I void the warrenty if I open the PC and reinsert the RAM/GPU?
