Please Help with Halo!

Hello, I'm not sure this is supposed to be in this forum, but heres the problem.
Whenever I play Halo CE chat doesn't work on multiplayer so I installed msxmlcab.exe, but when I tried registering it it says "Please check to see if you need (x86) or (x64) version. How can I get the 64 bit one for my laptop? Anyone know any links?

Your profile says you have 32bit, so you need the 32bit program.

Ya but this for my 64 Bit pc that I have not this one.

It sounds to me like some parts of Halo PC aren't designed to work on a 64bit OS. A lot of people with x64 seem to be having problems with it.

It is an old game and it's last update was in 2004. The original Halo PC had an update 2 years ago, and that works fine on x64 Windows, so it most likely is just an incompatibility issue.
