This is driving me nuts! I am getting grey screen flickering (vertical lines) and mouse cursor corruption (only on primary monitor of a dual monitor set up) followed by a complete freeze that requires a reboot. This mainly happens during, or just after game play. The mouse distortion is a little more common and can happen at any time.
All system drivers are up to date

This was a self build which for the most part runs really well
Your videocard might be overheating. Suggest you run a temperature monitor - when did this start? Have you overclocked anything at all?
