I set up Live TV wrong...and now I cannot get back to initial set up so I can reconfigure. Any ideas? We are getting 2ft of snow in Washington DC right now so I'll have lots of time!

i found it under tasks...I have comcast...I just don't know if I have analog cable or digital. D'uh.

If you have an STB it's digital, if not analog - in most areas - Comcast is rolling out full digital and 'adaptors' in some locales. If not your first choice re-run and select the other...

NH huh? You guys are not getting the snow we are. This reminds me of the Blizzard of 78...if you are that old! Thanks for trying to help me. It WAS working a few days ago...I had erroneously set up Cable Antenna. Anyway, the TV will not work even without running WMC. I tried to run it thru HP's wizard. This is a brand new pc - a HP 23" TouchSmart. but I'm not that smart! I go thru set up and it scans channels and comes back with zero channels found....I've tried several options...the most I can get is one very clear channel (Fox) and the remote changes the channels....I can see the numbers change...but the actual channel does not change. Any ideas? I'd be happy to send you a gift via paypal for your time.

I am that old, not that I need to be reminded I had to deliver newspapers in it.

Anyway, the first thing that will be helpful is for you to list your system specifications which is done in your profile and then that data will appear in the 'My System Specs' link for each of your posts, even if it is just the specific make and model number of your PC...

I'll try connecting the IR right on the set-top box as it says...but I am this close: I see ONE channel very clear. The remote does advance channel...but not the picture...it shows only one channel regardless of what channel I change to.
I'll keep trying...thanks for this link to the HP TouchSmart.
