Just got a new PC. I got speed fan, core temp, hardware monitor and open hardware monitor. When I first got it I don't remember my AUX being 60-128c. Should I reinstall windows, re-build my machine or just ignore it? Nothing in my pc is burning my finger. Old Cpu was hot and burnt my finger at 50c.

All my games and pc works great.. I just want it to last and not burnout a part of my mobo or cpu..

Thanks for any suggestions

Don't know what's happening, but my guess is that something in the sensor is not working properly. The "Aux" thing temperature is way off the others, and I don't thing that difference is normal which makes me think the reading is not correct.

Can you check if, at the bios setup screen, the temperatures are the same too?
Is that a desktop or notebook?

For all others temperatures, they seems to be very good, and if you haven't had any problems with games specially, it's likely that the computer is in good shape. Formatting usually don't helps with hardware problems, but just refreshes Windows itself.
If in doubt, you may try cleaning the computer to remove dust inside the CPU that may help with refrigeration.

It's a desktop and brand new so it's not dirty. Last time i checked in bios I could only find one temp and it was 30c. (I will check again soon.) I don't know. Thanks though

OK, just one more test. Look at the temperatures right after you just started the PC, after a long time of it being off (like in the morning after the night). At that point, all temperatures must be very low since it has a long time to cool, but if it's still over 100 you know the sensor is not working properly.

Those programs are not reading correctly.

Ok it's still hot after boot up... The sensors are reading wrong.. or it's my fans blowing hot air into the sensors and this could be a problem? How would I fix the sensors? It seems other temps are going up because of the false reading of that temp. IDFK..

My specs are.. 850 watt power supply, AMD FX 6100 6 core, 12GB ram, Geforce GTX 550 TI, 1 60 GB HDD (a fast drive i put windows on) 1000 GB HDD for my stuff. And ATX 970 EXTREME4 Mother board.....

Also the 3dmark 11 test tells me my cpu is running like 3800 and it only has 3 cores......... Im confused Something about the overclocking tab in bios, which I did not change anything. Says It's running 3.30ghz on the properties screen... Any ideas will help as im giving up on this and just gonna use the pc and hope it don't fry!

I would not worry too much about that. If the fans are effectively spinning and your computer works as normal I don't see any problem. Also, any modern system have thermal protections too, so that if the CPU or GPU overheats it will abruptly shut itself down to prevent damage, so it's unlikely it will fry itself even if there's too much temperature.

Thanks Alejandro.. I was thinking about putting another geforce 550ti in.. I would like to get a more accurate .. When im playing a game my gpu will go up to 55c-65c and my cpu will be about 50 ish i forgot already..

Question is... How can i get my system cooled down to put another video card in?

Not to mention the AUX reading which is always..

I guess some kind of cooling kit.. I don't wanna do any water cooling nonsense

I think the sensors are wrong. look at the first screenshot. Unless you live in Alaska and are outside, I doubt your CPU is 11C.
