Hi guys

Right here goes : - I've installed windows 7 home premium 32bit on my sony vaio vgn-ns11j laptop. All is well but i can't for the life of me get the web cam to work. Have been every where looking for a fix and now find myself here with hopefully you forum gods to help me.
Does anyone know what to do or where to go to get the fix for this problem, i'm not the best computer man in the world but am willing to give it a go if anyone has an idea.
Would be nice to just have a link to a press and go to save me any chance to cocking it up when trying to fix it.
So there you go people can anyone get my web cam working ...........will leave the fact that the touchpad is all over the place until i see wht you come back with ......if indeed you do..

Many thanks

My guess is that you need a driver. What is the make and model of the webcam?

You're probably missing the "software" or driver for that web-cam, did you connect it and try an update? Checking both "important" and "optional" categories in "Windows Update". It may help if you tell us what model of web-cam it is.

Did the webcam work before you installed Win 7? Do you have any software that was installed previously for the webcam?
