Hi
The last few days when my pc is idle for awhile and I come back to use it my internet is off,all the lights are green on the crappy speedtouch modem. I found out if I take out the cable(RJ-45) from the lan port on the MB and plug it back in net is back. Does anyone know what the problem is here ?

Thanks

Hi Samurai,

Try disabling the power saving mode of your network adapter from Device Manager.
Type Device Manager from Start Orb :orb:, see on the top Device Manager, locate Network Adapters double click on it right click on your Network Adapter and choose Properties, find Power Management Tab uncheck the boxes if there are checked, click Ok. Now, see if the issue persist and give us an update.

Hi 2xg
I have allready tried that, it does not help. I found an Realtek Ethernet card laying around here, just put it in today to see if it is the lan port on the MB that is going bad.
