Have you installed any new software or apps that modify 7 in any way?

I'd uninstall the GPU driver, run Driver Sweeper. and reinstall it. Otherwise try sfc /scannow in an elevated command prompt.

I have the same problem. I have 2 monitors, and the pointer sometimes returns to normal if I move it from one to the other.

However, it sometimes flickers as well, and on the occasions it flickers it freezes the computer after about 5 seconds or so, requiring a hard reset. It leads me to believe that there is a problem with windows, causing a memory error that isn't caught by exception. However, I'm not a qualified programmer (yet), so I could be way off, but that's just what i think.
