OK... 1st off I'm no noob! I know that a clean install is preferred and that's what I've done since DOS/Win3.x days... but...
I attended a MS Launch event yesterday in San Diego and the MS rep told us how successful his Vista to Win 7 upgrade went I'm very tempted. Yes, he... like myself said he doesnt like or perform "in place" upgrades, but he had to try it.
So, by a show of hands... er votes, of those who did "in place" upgrades lets get responses on how it went.
This is only for people who performed an upgrade directly from Vista to Windows 7... not intended for those who formatted and did a clean install. Nor is it intended as a thread to complain or gripe about your student downloads, etc... there are threads for that too!
