Hello,
i just got new hardware and switched OS from XP to WIN7 (Home Premium 64 bit).
When i copy data via my ethernet connection (LAN cat 5e cable) the transfer rate is about 3 to 3,5 MB/s
I use MSI Mainboard Z77A-GD55 with Intel network adapter 82579V (onboard), latest drivers installed,
cat 5e ethernet cable, TP-Link Gigabit Switch.
This is what i did so far:
-autotuning disabled
-ipv6 disabled
-Remote Differential Compression disabled
-firewall disabled (antivirus software not installed yet)
but no improvement
what else could i check? where do i have wrong settings? any ideas?
thx for help, i am really lost here
cheers
Harry
