Poor wireless performance

Hi,
I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 500-1QT Notebook with Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit installed.

I am experiencing a really poor wireless performance with this OS, while I wasn't with Windows XP sp3.

In fact what happens is that the internet connection stops working for a while, than comes back, then stops working again...It's like sobbing.

I updated all the drivers (especially the wireless adapter one) through windows update, but I still can't get it to work.

I applied also the optimizations from SpeedGuide.net :: The Broadband Guide, but they didn't help me so much.

These are my detailed system specs:

Here are my system specs:

Unfortunately, I've always had this problem with windows 7, so I have not a driver version that works good on my laptop (Toshiba Satellite Pro L500-1QT). :(
