PoP: Sands of Time

For some reason, the game doesn't want to run properly lately. I've been able to play PoP (Prince of Persia): The Sands of Time in the past with a couple Compatibility settings turned on, but it recently doesn't work. I reinstalled the game today.

I've tried running the game with Windows XP SP2 and 3 (but no other OS's yet), and with Visual Themes disabled, as well as Desktop Composition, and the DPI one checked (the last check box in the list). Every time I run the game, it will have some solid grey in the background, covering just about everything, except for a few particles here and there, and showing the shadow to the main character, not showing anything else.

Has anyone else been able to make this game work right recently?

In fact, I do.
Run the game under the last Compatibility settings that worked, then go into Video properties.
Disable any fog/water effects and apply. Or try to restart the game.
The problem will be fixed

Awesome! Thanks! I forgot I had to turn off the Fog effects. It's now playable.

Hello to all,
I've just bought this game at Steam but I have audio problem:

I can hear audio with videos, like logo ubisoft, pop and intro video but i cannot hear anythink in gameplay.

My audio card is integrated in my ASUS N2M68-AM Plus and is a Realtek ALC662 High Definition Audio 6 -Channel CODEC

All my drivers are up to date from yesterday

Can you help me? Thank you!
