Popup blocker won't disable IE9 Win7 64 bit

I need to use a training website that launches a popup. The website says the popup has been blocked and to turn off your popup blocker. In IE9, I have:

• Disabled popup blocker (and added an exception for the site even).

• Reset Internet Explorer Settings.

• Restored advanced settings.

• Reset all zones to default level.

• Added the site to trusted sites list.

Still blocking popups. I even went to this test website which it failed at. It keeps blocking all popups! Is this a javascript problem? Anti virus is not an issue here. Looking for advice to get to the bottom of this. It's worth mentioning that the website works fine in Chrome and this is my current solution but I'm still annoyed by the problem...

This isn't giving me much to look at. This is akin to digging through log files. Has this... somehow worked for you in the past or...? :huh:

I don't have any errors to dig through but if one did I would suspect it would be a place to start looking,

Your specs indicate you have Professional, you might try disabling popups through Group policy
