I have several questions that I need to be answered please:

What are ports?
What is TCP and UDP?
Can we delete certain ports safely?

Because I was using NIS2010 and I had enough of it. I uninstalled it. I even ran the Norton Removal Tool. But there is still traces of it. Ports. I dont want to be connected with or through Symantec whatsoever can anyone help me out please. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried going to the Windows Firewall in the control panel and unchecking the Norton stuff that you don't want to access the internet?

I disabled windows firewall, I'm using Kaspersky firewall built-in in Kaspersky Internet Security 2010.

What makes you think those are ports are from Norton? The 1900 port is for UPnP SSDP. And the others are dynamic ports for data connections. Could be as simple as Internet Explorer or Firefox receiving HTTP data. Port numbers between 49152 and 65535 are dynamic, for unregistered services and temporary connections (most for this).

Port 1110 appears to be a NFS (Network File System) connection.
