does anyone know how to delete above program. i'm very careful whenever I download any program cause usually there're something included that I don't want. don't know how I got it, but I don't want it. have tried all the usual procedures to delete but it still exists.
any help would be appreciated,

found a program called "spyhunter 4" purchased, downloaded, scanned and now is gone with a lot of other toolbars that was on this computer that I didn't know about. it apparently stops rootkits in it's tracks. and more importantly stops any others that try to download on my computer.

Downloaded and ran SpyHunter 4 naively assuming that removal would be free.

How can I remove? Programme is not listed in Control Panel>Uninstall either as SpyHunter4 or EPG Group.

Is this yet another Scam?

I use revo uninstaller pro. standard revo is free. spyhunter is listed on my revo uninstaller.

SpyHunter 4 is not exactly the program of choice to get rid of the Portaldosites browser hijacker.

:info: If you follow this guidance, you will get rid of it:

Once done with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, a report opens in Notepad.

The log is automatically saved and is viewed by clicking the Logs tab.

Please copy/paste the entire contents of the MBAM report in your reply.
Exit MBAM when done.

Save to the Desktop.

Make sure you temporarily disable your AntiVirus, Firewall, and any other AntiSpyware applications.
These programs may interfere with the running of JRT.

Right-click JRT.exe and select: Run as Administrator

The tool opens and starts scanning the system. Please be patient as this can take a while...

Worked for me

Tried a couple of others i found on the internet but none really did the job and Spyhunter which could have worked... had to be bought before it continued with the removal, after scanning the computer for free. Finally found Adwcleaner on Cnet and I concentrated on choosing Internet Explorer when it was about to clean it. Whatever it found there took away the pesky portaldosites.com from ever coming back as the4 1st page which appears on startup of my browser. Free too.
