Possible "bit-flip" in COMPONENTS hive, with random BSOD

I'd like to see the most recent dump file for that BSOD.

I mentioned the GPU driver because it's often listed as a potential cause of the BSOD you've been seeing. Then, I found some discussion about the driver you're using doing things like causing freezes.

How did you turn off CPU? (GPU) cores in msconfig.

I have only had one BSOD (on 21/03) since my last post.

In MsConfig -> Boot -> Advanced there is a checkbox "Number of processors" that lets you select the quantity of processors (CPU, not GPU) to use.
