possible to turn a raid enclosure to non raid?

hi to all... Ive just bought a hotway 4x raid hdd enclosure... before buying this... i know nothing about raid.. and all ive wanted was just a harddisk enclosure that can stack up all my harddisk into 1 usb and 1 power supply... but then the salesmn told me that this is a raid enclosure which will help u backup your files and you can turn it off as well (which i actually dont need to backup)..

but after ive bought it.. i only learn what raid really is... studying all those raid 0,1,3,5,10 and i dont wanna combine all my harddisk into 1 harddisk... especially when my harddisk is all with data inside.. even that ive switch it to single mode.. it detect my harddisk as empty or unallocated... and of course i didnt perform format and plug it back to my desktop and everything was still there...

so is there anyone that can help or tell me how do i set it up as just a normal non raid harddisk so that it will show up as several harddisk in my computer with all my data inside instead of 1 drive or unallocated?

help will be appreciated...

ive just bought a hotway 4x raid hdd enclosure... but i know nothing about raid before this.. all i wanted was just a harddisk case that could stack up all my harddisk into 1 with 1 usb and 1 power plug while in my computer still show up as seperate drive...

the salesman though explained to me that raid is a backup function and i can turn it off if i don need it... but after ive bought it.. then i only learned what raid is... and i don want all my harddisk to combine into 1... eventhough i turn it to single mode... it detect my harddisk as empty or unallocated... i don want that as i still have data inside...

so how to or is it possible to use this raid enclosure as a non raid while my computer can show all my harddrive as individual without formatting it?

help is much appreciated...
