Hy guys.. I registered on this forum mainly to ask this question but that would be very mean of me.. so I hope I can stick around and help out with my crappy little knowledge about computers :)

My laptop was running Windows Vista Home Premium earlier until one of my IT friends upgraded my laptop to Windows 7 Ultimate (works for Microsoft.. so I got it for free :D) and hence, successful installation :D

Im exceptionally happy with it so far.. its so much more faster aye! But there is one problem.. which is that every time I single click on a file in the explorer.. there is a preview right?.. before it previews it comes up with this error which is REALLY annoying. Even my Windows Internet Explorer doesnt work properly until the errors finish doing their job.

Please help me fix this... my system specs are on my profile or if its inexcessible here you go..

System Manufacturer/Model Number Toshiba/Satellite A200

any help will be highly appreciated!

An in-place Upgrade from Vista is frequently an inferior install due to corruption imported from the old OS, as you are apparently discovering here.

The way to troubleshoot a specific error message is to Google as much of it's exact text as possible as there are almost always others who have dealt with the same problem and will show you how to fix it.

But for the long run, you'd be better off backing up your files and gathering your program installers to do a Clean Install by booting the Win7 DVD, deleting all partitions, creating new one(s) and formatting.

We're here to help when you're ready.

I second Greg's suggestion. You will have less problems now and in the future.
