Basically a software that uses the on board graphics to help your graphics card. I will do a lot of other things too, but is supposed to be excellent with rendering Viseo/pictures. It's also supposed to help in gaming and will help in some of the benchmarks. There are others here who can explain it much better than me. My first try with it was this afternoon. I'm not sure how much info is there, but this is their website Lucidlogix

I recall reading the same thing, but this is a new version recently released. Supposedly they fixed some of the problems. If it fixed that I don't know. What I do know is it added 2000 points to my Mark 3D 11 score. And, with photo rendering I've read that it reduces the time drastically. In the Best Deals of the Day thread they are offering it to 'qualifying' computers for free. So, I thought I would give it a try. It has a good interface where you click a button to turn it off or on. It also has a list of games it is optimized for. What it will do in the others, I don't know.

And with Lucid off, I improved a little by going from 4.5 to 4.7 on the cpu, and a 40mhz core bump on the gpu

The card is good, not a beast like the big boys you guys have. It still holds up, I can play BF4 with it so I'm happy. I have had better luck OCing it with my psu/mb upgrade, it added a little more of a lifespan for it

Ha, mine says it`s invalid because I`m using Lucid I`ll have to run it again just using the card.

that is crazy but then again i am having issues with my 3dmark 11 it crashes for no reason

That's crazy, Brian. I ran it yesterday with MVP and it said valid. What's going on there? This is with the card at stock using MVP

I just ran it again, with the iGPU turned off and I still got an invalid reading, something about the settings idk :huh:

I also got an invalid because apparently 3DMark hasn`t tested the latest NVidia driver yet. GeForce Version 332.21
