I have downloaded an ISO image of a windows 98 boot CD.

I have opened this iso image up in Power ISO, create a new folder, added a motherboard bios update utility and associated files to the image and then burned this modified image to a physical CD.

But when I boot this CD in another laptop there is no sign of the new folder I create nor the files I added.

I.E. When I use the 'dir' at the command line.

What am I doing wrong here?

Did you create a new ISO before you burned it?
Did you add any files to the boot.ini?

This thread might help you => Update your Win 7 installation media. Although it is primarily for Win 7, the concept and method are the same!

I hope this helps!

Is this tutorial of any use to you, from the Power ISO website, Make Bootable ISO File ?
