Can someone tell me if its possible to use different Power Line adapters of different makes or do they all need to be the same make??

I presume you mean Power Lan Adapters.

Best thing to do is google for a manufacturer and ask the support desk.


There is no standard for it, like Ethernet protocol, so I suspect you will at least need same brand. same model probably not.

But I am just guessing.

NO need to be the same maker or brand, but need the same protocol of home plug 1.0 or home plug av.
