power outage reboot backgroud went back to default

I had power outage reboot backgroud went back to default and so did the quick launch menu also some of my games act like i never played them before and have to re setup resolution and settings. Did some widows file get corrupt why did this happen?

google crome does not start either am i looking at a windows 7 reinstall

It sounds like something was corrupted, or your sstem reverted back to an older system restore point. Aside from the games and Chrome not working, how is the system running otherwise?

i was searching in the forums do you think my user profile might be corrupt

crome does not run at all

games run ok but act like i never ran them before

IE acts like its the first time used also

Uninstall Chrome and reinstall. When you turned it back on did you get the start windows normally or repair my computer options ?

no i got no options on start up crome wont uninstall i click uninstall and get a error

well after rebooting and using cc cleaner i got google crome re installed but the problem with everything back to default seems to have something to do with when i set up my computer i moved my documents and downloads to another drive using the location tab. Windows now seems to went back to the to the C: drive to save documents and now the location tab is missing to move it back this is driving me crazy
