powercfg /waketimers bug when modifying trigger of scheduled task

Hello,

I have the following three observations concerning powercfg /waketimers

1
When powercfg /waketimers shows a task, the time when that task will run is about the same as specified in the trigger for that task in Task Scheduler. But when making changes to the trigger time of that task and then looking at powercfg /waketimers still the original (unchanged) time is shown.

2
Only after a reboot the powercfg /waketimers shows (sometimes) a task (even when having a task triggered to run each day (with the option Allow to wake the computer).

3
When creating a new task in the task scheduler to wakeup the computer (some hours later) and then looking in powercfg /waketimers that task is not shown.

Can somebody confirm that all this is "by design" or is my computer not working correctly.

Can I make powercfg to refresh its settings?
(I tried sc stop Schedule / sc start Schedule but that did not help.)

problem still not saved

As I explained it is a problem that I hoped would be noticed by someone of microsoft. It is a bug in the design of waketimers.

No help needed other than a change in the functionality.

One of our Microsoft wise members offers this.

My suspicion is that it's 'by design' - and even if it is a flaw, it's not a bug.
All such actions should be done and followed by a reboot, and not simply left to drift anyhow.
It may be possible for force it in the same way as a policy update - but I have no idea how.
