POWERCOLOR HD 5770 doesnt play games

just bought hd 5770 installed it had a few problems and now it says by graphic card that i have a standard vga graphic card and i tried installing any games but none of them will work, the reolution goes to max. only 1400 x 1050 although i have a 1920x1080 monitor

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED
