You have helped me a lot over the years (especially Greg) and I will be following his gloriously detailed Clean Install Guide tomorrow or the day after.
I have a full retail version of W7 Home Premium, but due to its age it does not come with the Service Pack 1 on the disk.
Looking at the guide (and bearing in mind i have the full retail version) I have been able to go to Microsoft Software Recovery, put in my activation code and i have downloaded a 3.09 Gb .iso from MS
My question is simple: does this .iso contain Service Pack 1
My wife bought her retail version later and her disc contains SP1 - so i could just use that and then my activation code but im intending to do the install from USB stick if i can.
Many thanks for any help
Matt

I built this three years ago. It was very fast at the time. Now it's about average but still runs any game I throw at it at max detail.

All fans PWM; speeds at idle: CPU circa 500 rpm; intake circa 600 rpm; exhaust circa 600 rpm; CPU temps 27 idle and 47 C load in a warm room (27 C/81 F) when running Intel Extreme Tuning Utility stress test.
Just copied this out of my windows explorer folder properties for the .iso:
3.09 GB (3,320,903,680 bytes)
So it appears my iso is identical to yours (to be expected i guess) does that size indicate it is W7 + SP1? Im happy to take your word for it but the size means nothing to me!
Many thanks
